Sam is the CTO and a co-founder of Anapaya Systems AG, an ETH-spinoff with the mission to develop the next-generation inter-networking architecture by combining high security (prevent prefix hijacking, provably secure protocol and implementation), high availability (network-level DDoS defense), and flexibility (path control and multipath) all in one network architecture, SCION.Before co-founding Anapaya Systems, Sam was a PhD candidate at ETH Zurich in the group of Prof. Dr. Adrian Perrig, where he carried out research around routing, content distribution, privacy, and SCION.
